Okay-ish
Was in the mood for a generic medieval fantasy setting so I picked this one up. Its okay compared to other choice games but didnt capture me. The writing was fine but the game elements felt very tacked on as if it didnt matter what my actual stats were in most cases.
That said the ending is amateur hour and unforgivable. After playing for several hours the final boss fight amounts to "a pick the right choice because Im the author and this is what I say needs to happen," event. I didnt pick the right choice and was given a prompt "you died" screen. No epilogue, no interesting details about what my characters death and failure meant for the rest of the generic fantasy world, nothing. There are many better choice games out there and this one is not worth your time unless youve played all those other ones.
